Hamlett Motion Art video installations are film of actual artistic inks, paints and coloured liquids in motion. Contemporary artist Peter Hamlett creates his moving art works on glass, using coloured liquids, paint and light to create the amazing detail and vibrant, ever moving colour art films. All brushes and other artists tools are skilfully edited out of the final cut to produce seamless art works of paintings actually moving in front of your eyes. The art really does move in these innovative original art films and unique DVDs. These art video installations are therefore unique to Hamlett Motion Art. Artist Peter Hamlett never knows exactly what will happen when he creates his motion art videos so every original art installation is unique and could never be repeated by Peter or any other artist.
Peter Hamlett currently has one original art video installation available to buy, Purple Dream. This installation is in 4:3 format. Peter accepts commissions for regular 4:3, widescreen and 2:1 (cinema) installation in regular, HD, greater than high definition and cinema quality (4K) definition. Many artists do not currently work in high definition. All Peter Hamlett’s video installation work from Summer 2008 onwards is in high definition and above, making his extensive library and future abstract art filming projects suitable for all domestic, corporate, music industry and cinema applications. This quality principal is very important to the artist. For years artistic film and video installations have got away with being lower quality than commercial TV and cinema film. Peter believes it is time the abstract and contemporary art world improved standards and matched the professional film makers in quality, definition and service. Purple Dream original video installation was inspired by the artist’s prints created with his expanding circular abstract art theme. Works available through this web site include Fusion, a signed limited edition of 75 art print, Le Bleu, an amazing original light picture, Through Cracked Ice, the thought provoking limited edition gloss print at only £139 and Shoal a limited edition signed print of 30 mounted onto aluminium to highlight the shimmering nature of the abstract art image. Careful editing of the original high speed footage, slowing the fastest moving art action down considerably, while keeping the slower movement at real speed has produced the seamless depth of motion, reflection and pattern seen in Purple Dream DVD video or photo card original artistic film installation.
